This series has been a clear confirmation of the path my work has taken in this last year: the Symbalas are serving as focusing lenses for co-creative attuning processes.
Michele Louie, a gifted energy facilitator now being called 'The Symbala Lady' as a result of her enthusiastic and successful use of them in her practice, suggested that I look at a book called Advanced Chakra Healing, Energy Mapping on the Four Pathways, by Cyndi Dale. Specifically she wished me to see if I resonated with the 10 elements Cyndi uses with her attunement methods. I took the hint, looked at the book and had an immediate affinity with Cyndi's perspectives which are in harmony with the attuning intentions of the Symbala art.
Almost immediately I found myself immersed in this new series. Each element demanded an in-depth expression of its essence and was a journey in itself. By the time I got to the last element, I knew I had been truly tested by experiences which took me to new levels of vision and connection.
Since this series was directly inspired by Cyndi Dale's vision and use of these elements, each one will include an excerpt from the above book describing how she applies these elements in attuning processes. They can also be used in combinations as this excerpt indicates:
"How can these elemental concoctions assist in healing? Consider again the inflammatory process. Heart disease is linked to inflammation in the blood vessel, impacted by plaque buildup. Fire is a result of the blockage. The body thinks it's doing you a favor by increasing the fire element; after all, ideally fire can burn out the increasing fat buildup. Unfortunately, the swelling is causing further restriction in the vessel. You might visualize the energy of stone surrounding the fire and confining it to the fatty buildup, thus burning out the fat while protecting the surrounding tissue. Washing the inflamed area with water can soothe the damaged tissue, then rebuilding it with earth can restore it to health. After eliminating the lipid blockage, you might repair it with metal, which can deflect further waste storage." pg. 65
(Cyndi gave me the following reflections on working with the elements using this series.)
"Much of healing is about reducing needs into their simplest states, which you
can do with working elementally. When I was teaching, I found that the Symbalas of the elements helped class participants connect better with the 10
elements, as well as the beings associated with them. They were then able to
perceive which element was out of balance and better figure out which element
would bring balance.
In my own work, I often just work elements. Pinpoint the elemental
problems and you can easily figure out which belief system or repressed feelings
might be causing difficulties. Good healing is always about making things simple
-- and that's the benefit of using the Symbalas. Sometimes the
brain can better diagnose and heal through the eyes than the mind."
All Blessings,
Cyndi Dale
