“My Personal Symbala has already become a teacher for me. The first thing I’ve learned is to communicate with it using my subconscious mind, not my analytical mind. So, from a meditative, receptive state I will describe my first interaction with my Symbala.

“The nucleus, or core of my being radiates pure Love. I also perceived that I have put a wall around this core to ‘protect myself”. I shall have to work on these self-imposed limiting beliefs.

“I have a lot of energy going out in many directions. I’m like a whirling dervish sometimes – more energy than I know what to do with. This is weird because I often feel fatigued. Some of it gets reflected back into me and manifests as discomfort in my body or agitation in my mind. When I come from my focused center (heart), I am being shown that I have a much more positive energy exchange upon my circle of influence than I allow myself to believe.

“I have a lot of energy coming in as well. This Energy is more subtle. I ‘see’ a strong connection to at least 10 angels and/or spiritual guides as well as at least 10 other Light Beings in my ‘Divine Team’.

“As I kept softly gazing at my Symbala, the center became a ball of energy. Then it sent a beam of this energy directly into my third eye! I felt this chakra opening wider and wider. My Symbala reminds me to continually open my heart and my soul to connect with Source and Trust that All is exactly as it should be in this moment.

“I wonder what my Symbala will teach/show me next…

Evolving Beingness

Today is the first day of 2018, a good time to take stock of the year’s journey and put forth desires for expanding our evolutionary path.  A large factor in my artist’s path has been to listen and trust the inner/cosmic guidance I receive as energy and nudges that I translate into the Symbala forms.  Sometimes these nudges are a wake-up call for me and not about the art.  Sometimes they are not at all subtle.

Here’s a nudge I got right before the New Year and shows how some of us need firm guidance to pay attention and shift some stuckness!  I made a day trip to see friends for a holiday visit which included going out to lunch.  When we got back to the house, I was sauntering up the straight, flat walkway talking with one of the friends slightly behind me.  The next thing I knew, I was in a slow-motion movie starring me doing an inexplicable pratt-fall.  Arms flailing, gravity grabbed me and flung me off the walk and onto the grass, landing flat on my back with arms flung wide like a snow angel, without the snow!  I was stunned and flabbergasted and then, I started laughing – couldn’t stop.  When they finally got me on my feet and into the house, I checked to be sure everything was where it was supposed to be and then we sat around talking.  They talked, I was thinking… what had I been talking about when this cosmic joke took place?  The friend had asked me how much my newest Symbala project would cost when it was finished, so he could buy it.  I hadn’t given him a price because I didn’t know what it would be yet.  I threw some cost figures at him and had just said before the fall, ‘and tack on $5 for my efforts’!  Wham!!  I was sort of joking, but, once again my old pattern of not valuing myself and what I do was in there.  Wow!  I got the message (symbolically) loud and clear this time.  If you don’t value yourself, you fall flat; thanks, my unseen friends.

So as you ponder your desires for the New Year, remembering to value yourself is top of the list or life won’t sparkle like champagne, it will be flat like yesterday’s soda.

Deck the Halls

‘Tis the season for giving, fun, food and don’t forget the decorations. When you deck your halls, try adding some sacred geometry sparkle, like with Symbala cards, tree ornaments or wrapping paper found in my Zazzle Store. The high vibes are a true accompaniment to the festive spirit of the season!

Acts of Kindness

I meant to put this up for the First of October, but things happen and I’m glad to present this at last.

I have often met the month of September with a subtext of melancholy; perhaps childhood memories of summer ending and going back to school. Perhaps it’s the Virgo aura:

“The Virgin’s Mysteries culminate in a purified and honorable relationship between life and death. As such, this season can be emotionally and spiritually challenging for those who shy away from this necessity.” ~ Aeolian Heart

This September seems spectacularly intent on upheavals, changes and endings. The summer wound down for me in a pall of smoke and ash; I have experienced a death in my extended family and, once again, I will be moving at the end of the month. I have also seen these challenges reflected in almost every one of my closest friends and family. When it feels like you’re beset with chaos coming from many directions, what gives you the ability to find balance, peace and happiness?

Have you noticed how nature’s fury levels the playing field? The NOW of it all keeps the focus on life, both human and animal, and not what is the skin color, creed or species. It pulls us together and inspires us to appreciate the value of all life. This can be a stability we find in chaos and we see it expressed in uncounted acts of heroism and the power of simple kindness.

I find peace and happiness in my world daily by focusing my lens on the many small kindnesses given and received that may go unacknowledged, but not unnoticed. Here is the Symbala offering inspired by this love and valuing of all life. It’s powerful; it’s simple and it’s full of love, enjoy!
