Be Patient
How often do we counsel ourselves to ‘be patient’ as we stand in line, sit in traffic, languish on the phone on hold and hunger after our dreams and aspirations? Lately, it seems the word ‘patience’ has come up over and over in conversations with friends, too. Words fascinate me; they are such powerful, symbolic messengers. This one has been in the forefront of my contemplations, so I realized I needed to explore it, in my usual way – meaning I tasted the vibrational meaning of ‘Patience’ by drawing a Symbala for it.
The Symbala speaks to me of the many levels of Patience. It speaks of inner balance through the grounded symmetry of the 4 geometry; the pastel colors remind me of the need to be gentle with myself as the processes of life and my creations unfold; and it speaks to me of the strength inherent in the calm trust of knowing I am in the right place, at the right time and joyful to BE! Who knew ‘patience’ is such a vibrant word – full of beauty, strength, trust and joy?
